Clara Carter is an award-winning meeting and event professional with over 20 years’ experience.
Ms. Carter, President and Founder of the Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network (MCCSN), Inc., provides meeting and event management and hotel sourcing services to associations, corporations, and leisure travel clients. Ms. Carter has a passion for all things travel and tourism related, and advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. She is a changemaker and creator of several City tourism and hospitality programs and events, which generates millions of tourism dollars.
Ms. Carter is also founder and producer of the Women in Tourism and Hospitality (WITH) National Conference and Awards Luncheon. During the COVId-19 pandemic, Ms. Carter has been acknowledged as a “2020 Meetings Trendsetter” by Meetings Today. Ms. Carter has three days named in her honor by the City of San Diego, and serves on several advisory boards. She strongly believes that we are all on this planet to share our gifts with others. She is a dedicated community leader, volunteer, wife, mother, and proud grandmother of her four heartbeats.
