Beginning Writer's Workshop |
The secret to good writing isn't difficult to unravel. It's simply a matter of putting the right words together in a pattern that communicates exactly what you want someone to know, learn, feel, experience, or grasp.
Geared for beginning writers, this course will focus on basic skills, aimed at building writing confidence. Some of the topics you will learn through a series of user-friendly classroom exercises include:
- writing about personal experiences and emotions
- interpreting and writing a news event
- evaluating your own writing
- moving from thinking about writing to actually doing it.
With each exercise, you will increasingly become a better writer – and have fun doing it.
"Before taking this class, I struggled to write. Now I feel I can write and just let it flow."
"John has opened doors for me."
"He got us to open up and write! John has a talent for bringing down people's walls."
"John made me feel inspired to write and really put me at ease! Excellent instructor."
