TRANSBORDER PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE

A three-semester program offered through the College of Extended Studies and the School
of Public Affairs. This program will focus on how U.S. and Mexican systems of public administration
and governance function in the border region and what boundary spanning mechanism exists
for transborder cooperation on shared issues.
Course Requirements (18 units)
PA 680 Seminar in Transborder Public Administration and Governance (three
units) Fridays (3:30-9:30 pm) and Saturdays (8 am-5:30 pm) May 30-31, June 13-14, and June
27-28. Location PSFA 318.
PA 681 Seminar in Comparative Federalism: Mexico and the U.S. (three units)
Fridays (3:30-9:30 pm) and Saturdays (8 am-5:30 pm) July 11-12, July 25-26, and August 8-9.
