SDSU's Test Prep courses help students improve their test-taking potential to maximize test results. Students will acquire important strategies, expectations, and content information about the following exams: CBEST, CSET, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, and SAT. Books and materials are included in the registration fee. Registration is available online, in person or via phone at (619) 594-5152.<br /><br />

Areas covered are: mathematics, reading comprehension and essay writing. Instruction includes information about the necessary skills to help potential teachers understand, interpret and analyze passages. The book included in the course fee is <em>CliffsTestPrep CBEST Preparation Guide (2010)</em> revised by authors of BTPS Testing.<br /><br />

Learn key skills and strategies to excel on the GMAT! Our instructors provide in-class instruction for all areas of the GMAT, including the NEW integrated reasoning section. Preparation classes provide successful test-taking strategies, computer-adaptive test information, in-class timed practice exams, and a comprehensive updated textbook. All of these features create a winning combination. Areas covered are: math ability/problem solving (including a short review of algebra and geometry), data sufficiency, reading comprehension, sentence correction, critical reasoning, integrated reasoning, and the analytical writing assessment. The book included in the course is written by the faculty of BTPS Testing, CliffsTestPrep GMAT with CD/ROM (2012) including four full-length practice tests.<br /><br />

Instruction includes updated information about new GRE question types, strategies, in-class practice testing, and computer section-level adaptive testing. This workshop emphasizes analyzing and reviewing each of the question types: quantitative reasoning (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis, data interpretation, and word problems); verbal reasoning (reading comprehension, text completion, and sentence equivalence); and the two analytical writing tasks (analyze an issue and analyze an argument).
