Summer camps provide your teen with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life
skills, make new friends, and discover new interests. All day camps are for grades 9-12,
8:30 am-4 pm, Monday through Friday and located at SDSU Extended Studies/Gateway Centers,
corner of Campanile Drive and Hardy Avenue.
Give your teen the opportunity to:
- Hang out on a college campus
- Learn from industry experts
- Develop skills for future careers
- See a trial in action in Superior Court, or shadow Fox6 News, or build a multimedia
web site, or create stories worth publishing, or meet and greet with Sony Online Entertainment
Program for 9th-12th graders.
Extra curricular activities include
bowling and swimming at SDSU!

Mock Trial |
|
This course will challenge you to decipher the truth with the given evidence. Become familiar with: public speaking and debate, legal skills, team work, and skills related to law. Learn about opening statements and closing arguments, meet guest speakers, visit a court house trial in action, and visit a police crime lab. Tours and a mock trial at San Diego Superior Court will be offered.

Lights! Camera! Action! Learn from production studio industry experts and visit a production studio behind-the-scenes. Be part of a creative process daily. Editing, filming, and writing copy. Teens will work with Fox6 and KPBS.

So you want to be a hot shot game designer! Today there are over 50 different handheld and home video game systems, including the current Xbox 360 and new release of playstation3. Learn how things work behind the scenes at Sony Online Entertainment. This camp introduces you to the exciting world of game design, covering the core concepts and giving you hands-on experience with today’s most popular game design tools. Must be computer literate.
