These programs are designed to enable veterans and active duty military to prepare for or to advance in careers in high growth science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

These programs qualify for veteran's benefits, tuition assistance, and other sources of financial aid intended to enable you to further your education. Veterans program coordinators will help you maximize your benefits.

Programs Offer Various Educational Opportunities
Regulatory Affairs Certificate (RA)
- Prepares individuals for life sciences industry jobs in such fields as: pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices and diagnostics.
- Earns credit toward master's in: bioinformatics, biostatistics, biotechnology, medical product development, or regulatory affairs.
- Begins at regularly scheduled intervals with Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Devices Industries (RA 601).
Professional Science/Technology Certificate courses count toward a Master's
All Professional Science Programs are designed with the flexibility to meet a range of industry and individual needs. Participants may start with a four-course certificate program and work toward a master's or they may start on a master's and earn a certificate en route. Others may enroll in and complete only an industry relevant certificate program.
Course Credits are Transferable
All courses in the certificate and master's programs:
- Are California State University (CSU) graduate courses
- Will be recorded on a CSU transcript
- Are transferable to all 23 CSU campuses*
- Normally transfer to other universities nationally*
*The accepting University is responsible for determining how/whether a specific course is applicable to a particular degree.

Undergraduate degree (BS or BA) with a major in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, or an undergraduate degree in a non-STEM major and/or extensive and appropriate science/technology experience, and successful completion of individual course prerequisites (varies by program).
Master's Admission Requirements
Undergraduate degree (BS or BA) with an undergraduate major in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, and additional requirements specified by the program.
