Welcome to the SDSU College of Extended Studies (CES)/Josephson Institute online information page. Josephson Institute develops and delivers services and materials to increase ethical commitment, competence, and practice in all segments of society.
Courses approved for ED X997 credit are fully reviewed and approved by the faculty of the SDSU College of Education. These graduate level courses are designed to meet the needs of educators who wish to develop or continue the study of a current topic. Courses numbered at the 900 level are not designed to be applied to graduate programs at SDSU, but, like all transferable credit, may, with approval from the receiving institution, be applicable to degrees at that institution.
Grades and Transcripts
Official transcripts of academic credit earned through SDSU may be ordered through the SDSU Web Portal. You will need to know your SDSU RED ID number to use the Web Portal. Additional information about transcripts may be found at http://arweb.sdsu.edu/es/registrar/transcripts.html. There is
a $4 fee for an official transcript; all other Web Portal services are free. Please note: Before ordering official transcripts, view your unofficial transcripts to make sure all of your grades have been posted.
Refunds/Withdrawals
Refunds are based on tuition costs only. ASB/Union fees are not refundable after a class has begun. All refunds for credit courses are subject to a $17 administrative charge. Refunds are not automatic. No refunds are due unless the course is officially dropped within stated guidelines in the refund schedule.
