Veteran's Event

Keynote Speaker - Captain James C. Goudreau, Supply Corps, United States Navy, Washington D.C. He is currently assigned to OPNAV N45 as the director of the Navy Energy Coordination Office. He is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and is qualified as a Naval Aviation supply officer and as a surface warfare supply corps officer. He has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), and various campaign and unit awards.

Panelist - Matt Burkhart is vice president, Electric & Fuel Procurement at San Diego Gas and Electric Company. In that role, he is responsible for all aspects of acquiring power and capacity to serve the utility’s ratepayers. This includes long-term contracting for the company to reach its Renewables Portfolio Standard mandate, as well as procurement of conventional resources.

Panelist - Daniel Sullivan is the founder and president of Sullivan Solar Power, a firm that has installed over 10,000,000 watts of solar power, ranging from small-scale residential to large-scale commercial and municipal systems throughout Southern California. He is a state licensed master electrician with over a decade of field experience. Sullivan Solar Power is the top residential solar company in the SDG&E Territory.

Moderator - Dylan Ratigan, former host of MSNBC's The Dylan Ratigan Show. The show was the highest-rated, non-prime time show on the network, aimed at critiquing what Ratigan sees as an unholy alliance between big business and government.

His book, Greedy Bastards, was released on January 10, 2012, and spent five consecutive weeks on The New York Times Best-Sellers List. Dylan is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post. Wikipedia Entry
