SDSU Offers Executive Financial Planning

Executive Financial PlanningHave you ever considered embarking on a career in personal financial planning?

San Diego State University offers a year-round, CFP Board-registered Executive Financial Planning certificate that is a step in achieving the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.  Upon successful completion of this 18-unit program, participants will be awarded an Executive Financial Planner Advanced Certificate and will be eligible to sit for the CFP board exam. This program is intended for professionals in financial services firms with client contact experience; attorneys and CPA’s with experience in estate planning or tax; accountants and other financial professionals; and other financially-experienced personnel interested in a career as a financial planning professional. Each 12-week, 3-unit class meets Tuesdays, 2:30-6 pm.

Jack Dugan, MSBA, CFP®, AIF for Pure Financial Advisors, Inc., said the Executive Financial Planner program through SDSU helped get him to where he is today.
