Dr. Richard Lederer to Speak at Free Extended Studies Event

SAN DIEGO, Tuesday, July 12, 2005 - You've heard him as co-host on public radio's "A Way With Words" each weekend. You've read his syndicated column, "Looking at Language," which appears in newspapers and magazines throughout the United States. You've also heard that Dr. Richard Lederer is documented as the author of more than 3,000 books on language and humor.

Now, you can meet Dr. Lederer personally at a free event sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at San Diego State University's College of Extended Studies. Join the College for "A Morning of Language and Laughter" with Dr. Lederer on Saturday, September 10 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. This is a man who has been elected International Punster of the Year and been profiled in magazines as diverse as The New Yorker, People, and the National Enquirer.

A book signing will follow his presentation, and delicious refreshments will be served. "A Morning of Language and Laughter" will be at the new Extended Studies Center on the San Diego State University campus. There's easy access to the building with convenient parking.
