Pechanga Casino Hosts Two Extended Studies
Classes
SAN DIEGO, Tuesday, May 24, 2005 - San Diego State University's
College of Extended Studies is offering two classes during June
at Pechanga Resort & Casino, 45000 Pechanga Parkway, in Temecula,
as part of a partnership with Pechanga.
Casino Surveillance and Security, which is part of the Professional
Certificate in Casino Gaming program, takes place Mondays, June
6-27 from 6-9 pm. Topics will include: loss protection techniques;
applicable laws that affect casino operations; equipment used for
the protection of casino assets; how to identify, deter, and detect
casino cheats; investigative techniques; and report writing.
Exceptional Customer Service and Leadership in Hospitality, a part
of the College's Professional Certificate in Hospitality, is on
Tuesdays, June 7-21 from 6-9 pm. Students will explore tools of
the trade to model, train, teach, and measure great customer service
skills.
Cost of each course is $200 for Pechanga employees and $220 for
